(5:49:27 PM) Melanie: well, I changed my mind about dinner because Kris and [Miss X] want to gym at 6:30

(5:49:36 PM) Melanie: and [Miss X] sent me a very nice text saying I would be missed

(5:49:43 PM) Xen: That [Miss X].

(5:50:24 PM) Melanie: don´t worry, I think she´s involved. she had the fading remains of some very impressive hickeys the other day

(5:51:02 PM) Xen: Oh, I'm not worried about [Miss X]. I do not imagine you want to have sex with her. And she seems like a buddy-sort.

(5:51:13 PM) Melanie: she does

(5:51:27 PM) Melanie: plus, seriously, sex makes everything more complicated. I do not need sex from anyone but you.

(5:51:49 PM) Xen: Yes, having sex with anyone who is not me would make everything very complicated.

(5:51:52 PM) Xen: And sad.

(5:51:58 PM) Xen: Desperately sad.

(5:51:59 PM) Melanie: mostly sad

(5:52:42 PM) Melanie: who would sit with me and watch benevolently as I pee? and who would bring me lime popsickles? And who would do that VOICE? The sexy voice?

(5:54:14 PM) Xen: No one! And who would make me dinner and marvel that it went well? And who would point to her lips and insist on kisses? Or leave me adorable voicemails? Or hold my hand while asleep?

(5:56:15 PM) Melanie: And who would turn getting dressed into a twenty-minute ordeal of sexual frustration? And who would give me Peeps? And who would drink all my seltzer when I´m not looking?

(5:56:38 PM) Xen: :) No one.

(5:56:49 PM) Xen: We are wonderful together.

(5:57:03 PM) Xen: And you are the only person I can trust to critique my work.

(5:57:42 PM) Melanie: And you are the only person whose work I believe in as strongly as I do.

(5:57:52 PM) Xen: :D

(5:58:03 PM) Melanie: =D

(5:58:05 PM) Melanie: I adore you

(5:58:12 PM) Xen: I adore you!

(5:59:37 PM) Melanie: *Snuggles*

(5:59:47 PM) Xen: Also, sex the other day seemed especially hot, but in a different way than sex between us is especially hot.

(6:00:46 PM) Melanie: I know what you mean

(6:05:29 PM) Xen: You make me believe in life being beyond my expectations.

(6:06:29 PM) Melanie: damn straight!

(6:06:32 PM) Melanie: life is awesome

(6:06:36 PM) Melanie: and surprising
